Artwork for my End-Of-The-Year-mixtape. I experimented a lot with all kinds of symbols, patterns and (ofcourse) the Illustrator Blend Tool.
I settled upon a design resembling little voodoo dolls. The idea is that this year is a strange one, compared to most years surrounding it. (We of course don't know what's in store for 2021...)
I'm not really hung up on concepts - in general. If the final image is pretty then i'm satisfied. Even if it makes the meaning less clear.
The mix is composed of all kinds of dance music of the past year.
